Ford is gearing up for the new hybrids that are part of Ford’s plan to launch five electrified vehicles in the U.S. by 2012 and in Europe by 2013. Part of that acceleration is the creation of a center of excellence for vehicle electrification where the company will design, engineer and produce key components for its next-generation hybrid-electric vehicles.
